We had a very successful 1st Year Offering these services, even though we did not advertise, we had plenty of clients, also succeeding in collecting from stallions where other studs had failed!
With the completion of our fully equipped Lab and large rubber matted indoor Collection/Covering barn we are now able to offer a complete Stallion Collection Service in safe 1st class facilities, so if you would like to be able to send clients chilled semen from your stallion we can do that for you here at Rocks Farm Stud as a walk in service.
We can also offer the service of Artificially Insemination of your mare be it with semen from one of our Stallions or from an outside Stallion. If you have a particular Stallion in mind we can also help you in sourcing the semen from that Stallion or if you prefer leave the whole thing to us.
We also have two mares that can be hired for Embryo Transfer.

For Stallion collections we use our ovectomised mare, Tiffany, we will be installing a phantom mare for next season, although our own stallions prefer Tiffany. Tiffany is 100% in all ways and loves the boys, she is of a suitable height for a wide range of stallions and never flinches an inch, she has been used for over 100 collections last season and is an invaluable asset to our Collection Centre!

Stallion collections, semen analysis and semen shipments are carried out by Rocks Farm Stud. Mare inseminations can be carried out by either the Stud’s Advanced AI Technician or alternatively by our Vets Middleton & Hennessy the choice is yours.
As mentioned our Vets are Middleton & Hennessy and with John and Alex we have two extremely experienced stud vets, we do not offer an insemination package as through experience we have noticed that these only seem to benefit mares that need two or more insemination attempts thus those mares that take first time, as well as many 2nd attempts, are paying a much higher price than if the usual fees are applied. Middleton & Hennessy require payment details from new clients on arrival, in return there will be a 5% discount applied to your account!
