We are proud to announce Major Diamond Flight has now finished for the 2008 season and has proven to be 100% fertile!!

By Major League out of Diamond Shadow by Slyguff Joker whose breeding includes, the greatest Sire of the Century, King of Diamonds,but also includes top sires such as Highland Flight, Odin and Imperious all of whom are responsible for numerous top competition stock especially in Show Jumping and Eventing.

Major Diamond Flight is a late bred foal being born in July 2004 but is already proving to be a very special Stallion who is almost his Sire's double, he has inherited his Sire, Major League's, superb temperament and simply oozes presence.  He has a huge trot with an uphill canter and is showing very good balance at the start of his working life.  When loose jumped he is very impressive with a superb text book front end technique and more often than not his back end heading for the heavens!  On top of this Major Diamond Flight's paces are already drawing interest from the Dressage world.

Major Diamond Flight is started BSJA in 2008 attending a handfull of shows, due to his age, he quickly set about jumping double clears and is drawing a lot of interest from the public as well as the Pro's for his scope and ability as well as his super temperament!  He has already amassed BSJA Winnings and won his final at the BSJA Championships jumping 1.05m with ease although tired after 3 days of jumping and being away from home for the first time, he behaved impeccably even when his next door but one horse was an escapee for the night spending most his time outside DF's stable to say the least the stables were not suitable for Stallions!!

There was much interest in him at his grading in September, he was liked by all the judges with superb comments on his confirmation, temperament and ability, with the French Judge being extremely impressed with his superb attitude saying it is exactly what they look for at Stallion gradings in France.

Diamond Shadow's Sire Slyguff Joker is the sire of many International top class horses, in Eventing Joker Girl, International Show Jumper CARAIG DUBH winner of Grand Prix and numerous Nation Cups, IRISH JESTER winner of Winergy Young Event Horse Championship 2003 at Burghley as well as the UK Grade C Champion a couple of years ago, and many many more, like his sire there are just too many to mention here!

Major Diamond Flight, went in front of Top French Judges in 2006, out of all the horses put forward he gained the highest marks for movement, gaining 8 for his walk, 8 for his trot and 7 for his canter - not bad for 2 years old especially as all the others were much older than him!!
