Major Mystique (By Major League)

9th March Major Mystique (Josie) came for a jumping lesson today in preparation for her first BE event. She is an extremely talented mare with stunning paces and a superb scopey clean jump, she takes everything in her stride and is progressing very well. 5th at Firle hunter trial clear but a little too fast!!
Major Diamond Flight
Feb 20th Major Diamond Flight went to his first proper BSJA show, we chose Towerlands as if he is unfazed there he should be unfazed anywhere and yes you guessed it he took it all in his stride, although he did find the gallery and restaurant very interesting! He jumped a couple of clear rounds with a scopey clean jump even though his concentration was a little on and off at the start of the course he soon settled to his job, a very pleasing day!
Major Dream (By Major League)

Major Dream (Bred by RFS) Kalie is having, as expected, a superb start to her competition career. In her first dressage competitions she was placed 6th and 7th both times getting over 60% and this with her owner taking it easy as it was her first ever dressage outing! She is busy getting ready for her first BE event with lots of jumping and X country outings where she is excelling taking it all in her stride! 2nd March 2008 - Another 3rd and 5th for Kalie in Dressage!
Major Storm (By Major League)

Yet again this very successful & Stunning Dressage Horse (out of a TB Mare) has qualified for the Winter Regionals having won at least two qualifiers, he is flying affiliated and is picking up points at high rate due his tendency to win his tests! His owner, Lindsey, has also recently taken Major Storm X Country training and after seeing the photos I can say this boy certainly knows how to jump aswell as move, with pleny of scope and technique! Feb Another 2 x 1st places BD at Golden Cross! BD 30 points in a few shows!
We have been busy backing babies and taking some time out from competing over Christmas and New Year so not much news apart from the progress of the youngsters for a bit!
27th October 2007
Major Diamond Flight during his 3rd ever ridden session!

We have begun backing Major Diamond Flight and I am pleased to say he is a chip off the old block and has proved incredibly easy to do. He is happily walking and trotting with a bit of canter around the school. Our intention is to take things slowly with him especially as he is a late bred foal. Luckily with Major League's stock being so easy to do and quick to learn this will help us bring DF on slowly but correctly.
Major League Goes Eventing!
6th April 2007

This was the first time Major League had ever seen a fixed fence or a X Country course, he sailed around and enjoyed every minute, everyone stopped to watch him as he always draws a crowed wherever he goes, apart from the fact he was only going at a medium canter, the ground was hard and due to his retirement he no longer wears hind shoes, as well as his Showjump rider who is not so at home in this environment, as he kept telling us, but he and ML enjoyed every minute! ML proved yet again why he and his offspring have the talent to do any sphere and why so many top riders are taking note!

Major Mystique (By Major League)
4th October 2007
Major Mystique (Bred by RFS) Josie entered her first hunter trial this weekend with a stunning clear round albeit too fast for the optimum time but as this is her introduction in order to go BE next year it bodes well! (more photos in Album)
Josie has had a late start due to a freak accident in her field which put her out for a year, luckily her owner found her immediately as Josie had only just been turned out after work and was standing in the field neighing at her owner, realising something wasn't right and after seeing Josie unable to walk on a hind leg she was rushed straight to hospital and was operated on immediately. Josie's owner has been very patient giving her all the time she needed to recover fully and now is reaping the rewards as Josie is not just going cross country superbly she is also jumping confidently and clear indoors and will I am told concentrate on Dressage this winter which she should excel at as Josie has superb floating paces. This is a talented mare with a great future!
21st March 2007 Major Dream and Major Mystery had their first trip to a show centre today, to jump their first course and to introduce them to colour fences. They both, as per usual for Major League's kids, travelled and loaded perfectly and were unfazed by the arena etc, popped round the course without any hesitation jumping several clear rounds each. They will both go for another training session next week and progress on to their first BSJA show shortly, both mares are showing much scope with the usual attitude, a love for jumping, they are both horses with a serious competition career ahead.

She gained another 7th and 2nd place in her last show for a while now that she is in foal.
A Different League (By Major League)

A Different League (bred & owned by RFS) flew into 4th place today (BSJA) which was very pleasing as he is a big lad and we were back indoors for the beginning of the winter season, he obviously had no problems with the transition going from big outside rings to indoors. 2007 Another 5th place for DL! DL, is clocking up the double clears showing off with his huge scope & qualifying for Regionals. Another 5th place!

Major Storm

Major Storm (By Major League), has had limited outings recently but that has not stopped his consistent winning, he has just won two championship classes one with 77%, 10% higher than second place, and 73% in his second test, astonishingly his owner believes his full brother is going to be even better! but as Storm is proving he is a hard horse to beat! (out of a TB mare) 2007 some recent results for this consistent winner, September - Golden Cross 1st with 66.52% gaining 4 points & Oldencraig 2nd with 65% gaining 3 points, October - Oldencraig 1st with 64.64% gaining 3 points & 1st with 65.48% gaining 3 points.
Major Player (By Major League)
Major Player, competed in his 1st one day event and thrilled his owner by being 3rd after dressage, going clear cross country, one down in the jumping and coming 7th overall! (out of a cremello mare)
Major Jazz (By Major League)

Major Jazz, (bred by RFS) competed in her 1st one day event towards the end of 2006, she was placed 4th on her dressage score of 36.5! (out of an Irish Draught mare) 2007 Jazz placed 5th in her first PN event finishing on her dressage score.
Major Diamond Flight (By Major League), (bred & Owned by RFS) went to show off in front of top French Judges, he was awarded high marks especially for his movement where he received the highest marks of all horses put forward, he was the youngest by years! He was typical to his Sire's offspring, as good as gold, loading in and out of the lorry several times troughout the day, travelled like a saint just like his old man, did not put a foot wrong all day, I could not be any more impressed with him!
For a short edited video please click below, this is a short video with some bits & pieces of ML & a few offspring.
